What to Expect
Disclaimer: This position is expected to start around May or June 2023 and continue through the entire Summer term. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time, for most internships. Please consider before submitting an application.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week. Many students will be limited to part-time depending on their academic standing.

The role of Workplace Operations Program Intern is to Support the Sales, Service, Delivery (SSD) field teams by creating efficiencies between the corporate team and business leadership by providing standardized tools and resources. The Programs team serves as conduit between the corporate Retail Development team, Regional WP Managers and Field leadership to determine, develop and modify identified needs.
What You’ll Do
- Represent and collaborate with Tesla’s Regional Workplace team, partnering and finding solutions for common issues across NA SSD locations.
- Assist in supporting Tesla’s Regional Workplace team on multiple programs and strategic initiatives. Facilitate new site opening activities including but not limited to setting locations up for sustained success.
- Ensure proactive and responsive resolution to issues that arise from the field teams and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain relationships that drive efficiency, speed, and quality outcomes for Tesla Sales, Service, Delivery and Energy/Warehousing locations.
- Manage programs for NA initiatives such as uniforms, design implementations, HR compliance programs, etc.
- Identify and receive alignment with Leadership on general announcements that are communicated to the field teams.
What You’ll Bring
* Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, and/or other quantitative and technical fields
* Evidence of exceptional ability, especially within an ambiguous environment
* 2-5 years of experience in analytics, program manager, or other structured training program
* Demonstrated success driving tangible impact /influencing within a broader organization
* Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts at a detailed level, and synthesize implications
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly with senior business leaders
* Excellent analytical skills (e.g., Microsoft Office applications, SQL, Tableau, etc.)
* Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools.
* Highly collaborative, team oriented, and comfortable leading cross-functional projects, especially those consisting of both technical and non-technical stakeholders
