What to Expect

The Role

The Learning & Development Partner Intern will leverage their strategic mindset to interface with the business and assess business/learning requests. They will have experience with building business cases, applying adult learning theory and industry leading training practices, and a strong program management and consultative background. This role will enable alignment and partnership with the business.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct complex training needs assessments for Sales, Service, Delivery, and Collision employees, including root-cause analysis to understand performance gaps
  • Consult with business partners to understand the strategic business roadmap, and recommend training solutions based on identified needs
  • Conduct discovery sessions with business partners to scope requested learning needs
  • Provide on-going analysis of learning programs across a broad spectrum of positions
  • Prioritize learning needs by leveraging business analysis and ROI projections and make priorities and timelines visible to training team
  • Communicate information to Design & Development teams clearly so that training requests are easily consumable and efficiently transitioned to the appropriate team
  • Collaborate with analysts to ensure consistent measurement & evaluation is occurring within learning workstreams
  • Consult on learning design plans, providing insights based on understanding of application of adult learning theory and specialized business knowledge
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts focusing on internal and external project aspects
  • Assist team members in measuring and optimizing the ROI of training projects/initiatives
